Laura’s work reflects the complexity and order found in the natural world, gleaning inspiration from the cycles and repetitions (seasons, moon phases, etc.). Through her unique style, the fluidity and grace of vines and blossoms grow organically to intertwine with precise geometric foundations.

 

Laura grew up in Western New York on the northern edge of the Allegheny National Forest. It was there she discovered her love of nature and all things creative, spending most of her childhood experimenting with a variety of mediums. While taking art classes in grade school, Laura discovered the likes of Alphonse Mucha and Arthur Rackham, whose detailed and intricate styles greatly influenced Laura's work. While she studied English in college, Laura refined her style, integrating concepts of Celtic knotwork and South Asian mandalas.

 

When not creating artwork, Laura is an office manager and event coordinator for a local shipping supply company, and enjoys spending her time with her husband, Joshua, and children, Lily, Tucker, and Valerie. She currently resides in Eastern Pennsylvania.
